Your 4 bars
Yo you, we gotta talk about this
You're always running late, it's a habit you can't miss
We love you still, but the facts don't lie
you on the mic, now wave goodbye
How to Make a Rap Battle with AI
- 1Name the two sides — Two friends, two pets, two foods, two made-up characters — anything goes.
- 2Add a fact or two about each — Strengths, habits, bragging rights. The AI turns them into punchlines.
- 3Pick a lyrics style and mood — Boom Bap and Old School are battle classics; Savage or Funny sets the tone. Lyrics style is adjustable; the video style is set by the template you pick.
- 4Edit your free battle lyrics — Get alternating verses for Side A and Side B. Rewrite any bar, then copy the battle. Free.
- 5Pick a template and make your 15-second video — Pick a template, enter a name and upload a photo. The template raps its own 4 lines with the name dropped in, as a 15-second video with sound (sign in, uses credits). For two people on screen, use the hotel lobby AI duet template.

Cat vs. Dog
Cat: I own the couch, I own the sun spot too,
You chase your own tail, that's the best you can do.
Dog: I fetch, I guard, I greet you at the door,
You knock cups off tables, then ask for more!
Pizza vs. Tacos
Pizza: Eight slices deep, I'm the party in a box,
Friday night legend, I'm the king of the block.
Tacos: Fold me, hold me, Tuesday is my throne,
Three in one hand, I'm a meal on my own!
Coffee vs. Tea
Coffee: I wake the city before the sun's up,
Double shot hero in a paper cup.
Tea: Calm in the kettle, I steep with grace,
You crash by noon, I win the long race!
Friend vs. friend: game night
Ava: Board game boss and I never lose a game,
Bring your best moves, I'll still win the same.
Ben: You flipped the board when you lost last May,
Rematch tonight, and I'm winning this play!

Rap Battle Generator FAQ
What is a rap battle generator?
A tool that writes a back-and-forth rap battle between two sides you choose. MakeItRap writes the battle lyrics for free. Separately, you can pick a template and make a 15-second rap video with your name and photo.
Is it free?
Writing and editing rap lyrics is free. Making a 15-second rap video is paid and uses credits; see Pricing for current plans.
Who or what can battle?
Anything you make up, pets, foods, objects, or friends who agreed to it. Public figures and real artists are not allowed.
Can I make a video with both sides rapping?
Yes. Use the hotel lobby AI duet template: upload two photos and two people trade the template's lines in one vertical duet video. It uses credits.
Can I write some bars myself?
Yes. Choose "I'll write my own" or edit any AI line, then copy your battle and post it anywhere you like. Videos use the template's own lines.
How is this different from the roast rap generator?
A rap battle has two sides trading verses. The roast rap generator is a one-sided, friendly roast of one person.
Can I get the full song or an MP3?
Not at launch. Right now MakeItRap makes 15-second rap videos with sound, which you download as an MP4. Longer songs are not available yet.
Can I share it on social media?
Yes. You can download the MP4 rap video you make and share it on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms. For commercial use, check our Terms of Service.
