Birthday Rap Generator FAQ
Can a birthday rap include their name and age?
Yes, in your free lyrics. Add the name, age and a few facts, and the AI writes them into the lyrics and the hook. Video templates use the name only.
Is it free?
Writing and editing rap lyrics is free. Making a 15-second rap video is paid and uses credits; see Pricing for current plans.
How do I make a birthday rap video?
Pick a birthday template, enter their name and upload a clear, front-facing photo. The template raps its own 4 lines with their name in them, and you get a 15-second video with sound to download as an MP4. This needs you to sign in and uses credits.
Will the video rap the lyrics I wrote?
No. Each video template has its own fixed 4 rap lines, and the name you enter is dropped into them. Your free lyrics stay as text you can copy and post anywhere you like.
Is there a clean version for kids and family?
Yes. Explicit lyrics are off by default, so birthday raps stay family-friendly unless you change it.
Whose photo can I use in the video?
Only photos of people who agreed to be in it, or pets and your own drawings. Public figures are not allowed.
Does it use a famous birthday song?
No. Every lyric is newly written and every video is newly generated. We never use existing songs, lyrics or real artists' voices. MakeItRap is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any artist, label or show.
Can I get the full song or an MP3?
Not at launch. Right now MakeItRap makes 15-second rap videos with sound, which you download as an MP4. Longer songs are not available yet.
Can I share it on social media?
Yes. You can download the MP4 rap video you make and share it on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms. For commercial use, check our Terms of Service.
